How To Deliver a Presentation


Purpose of Delivering a Presentation:
          The main purpose of presentation is to sending a message to get our audience informed about the concept or information that one want to convey.
Few Tips for Delivering Presentation:
1.          Use simple language
            If you want to convey any message, use simple and easy language to make it clear to everyone.
2.          Use verbal language
            Use verbal language and body language right, otherwise you can not be able to present.
3          Keep an eye contact
            Keep your audience focused and interested. Keep good eye contact and speak loudly enough for the audience to hear you.
4          Know your audience well
            Be familiar with the place in which you will speak. Arrive ahead of time and walk around the speaking area.
5          Do not speak to your slide
            Many presenters watch their presentation rather than their audience.
6          Rehearse your presentation
            Rehearse your presentation out loud before delivering, accompanied by the slide show. If possible, get someone to listen while you rehearse.
7          Know your material:
            Knowing your material thoroughly, will help you decide what information is essential to your presentation and what can be left out.
8          Do not memorize
            Don’t memorize during a presentation.
9          Learn To Navigate Your Presentation
            Audiences often ask to see the  previous slides again. Practice moving forward and backward through your slides.
10          Have a Backup Plan
            If your multimedia stops working suddenly, you should have a hard copy of your presentation to handle the situation.
11          Do not make your presentation prolong
            The material of the presentation should be coherent. Large presentations may make the audience bored and detract from the main point.
